Museum of Ice Cream
SWEETS PLAY SPACE
This project’s scope was to design an immersive playscape in the Museum of Ice Cream’s fantasy style. Bright colors, dynamic graphics, and interactive custom play equipment would flesh out the space into a striking 360 muraled room.
PROJECT
ROLE
My role in this project was creating the concept from blue skies through to spec and tech pack. 3D modeling, rendering, animation mock ups, and scaled 3d explorations all were necessary to bring the ‘Play Space’ from idea to reality.

PATTERN EXPLORATIONS
The goal was to create a responsive graphic that activated both the room and the equipment so we took inspiration from older 1960’s graphic design as well as previous Museum of Ice Cream installations.
Using custom inlaid flooring, I was able to design a 360 wrapped graphic that would bleed from the walls to the ceiling.

INTENTION
Our intention with ‘Leave Your Mark’ was to create a secluded space that guests could explore for a more personal activated experience.
With ice cream themed prompts that guests could leave behind, our goal was to have guests feel like they ‘left their mark’ for others to also enjoy.

EARLY PLAYGROUND CONCEPTING
The defining concept for this area was that of a space for free form play and exploration for guests and children.
The logic was to create a space that holds high energy. The goal was to bring in the universal nostalgia of a childhood playground which would serve the imagination of both adults and children.
